Praise be to God!

We got to the hospital, where the doctor's office is located, and couldn't remember which building it was in, LOL! There was a very nice lady that works there that helped us out. We made to the appointment a half an hour early and had to sit for almost an hour but oh well. As soon as we got called back, they did the echocardiogram. Ethan did pretty well with that, only getting a little upset, saying it hurt. Not sure if he's just extra sensitive to the pressure or what, because she wasn't pushing with the little ultrasound wand they use for the echo. But seeing as he does have other sensory problems (mainly loud noises or just background noise that he can't drown out to focus on something else), it could be something like that.

After that, they did the EKG, height and weight and normal health update questions.

The cardiologist came in about 20 minutes after that (so it was already after 4 at that point!) and I told him my concerns.

According to him, after having looked at the echo, Ethan's heart is doing great! His hole is getting smaller, there is no new sound, no worsening of the valve regurgitation (basically a small leak), and no lung problems! He just needs to exercise to build his stamina up and get out and run around! Ethan doesn't need to be seen again till next October!!!

I am so happy and relieved and, ah, I don't even know. Now we just have to figure out school stuff still and make sure he's in the right place for him, sell the house, find a new place to live, move up there, find Jason a closer apt to his work in the meantime and keep it all together till then! Stress has a funny little way of working its way between a loving couple making life harder than it should be. Communication is definitely a necessary part of a marriage.
