Jason found an "apartment" to stay closer to work. It's actually one of 5 rooms in the basement of an old colonial style home that is now law offices on the first and second floors. There is a "community" bathroom, and his room is the size of a small motel room. It's furnished with a futon, tv, dresser, cupboard, microwave, small fridge and window a/c. He has to sign a 90 day lease but then they will do week-to-week after that, so it's actually perfect since it's in Port Huron and his work will be there for a few months while they wait for their new hangars to be built on Selfridge ANGB. It's $300/mo. and utilities are 5% of the whole bill, which he was told averages around $20/mo. with the highest being around $30. There's no way he would find anything less with furniture so close to work. Now the only thing is, he's moving in today and won't be home again till Friday around dinner. Jason decided he's going to drive home on Fridays after work and stay till after the boys go to bed on Sundays, then spend Sunday night thru Thursday night there. In July he gets to go to a factory training school to work on Eurocopters and get three weeks paid training in either Philadephia, PA, or somewhere in TX. He'll be gone from around the 2nd till the 22nd so he'll be home by Ethan's birthday!
Prayers that we can get the house ready to sell quickly and that it sells quickly for what we ask for it would be appreciated. Also that we find a nice place to rent or buy up there.
