My wonderful husband

Jason is such a great guy, he loves me and our boys so much. He is willing to do anything for us, even to the point of going overseas for a job. Ever since we moved home to Ohio we have had an awful time with jobs and such. In September, we sold our home in Maryland and moved up here for a job he was offered. They let him go after 2 weeks (mind you, this is the first time since his first job at 16 he was ever let go) because they and he didn't know what the job entailed, basically they didn't know what to have him do and it was a new aircraft for him. Then one month later he was given another job and we were all set to move about an hour away to Dayton and he worked for 10 days and let go. His boss told him"you are a great mechanic, but you aren't quite ready for a job on civilian helicopters, get another year experience on civilian stuff then come on back" My hubby had worked in the Army for 3 yrs and then for a contractor for the Navy for about 4 yrs on helicopters so he knows what he is doing. He was so upset about all of it. In December I got a part time job and worked as much as I could and we used our savings to move out of his parents in January. My dh had no luck finding anything, he called everyone in Ohio and Michigan that he could find in the phone book and online. Then we decided it was time to do something else. He started looking at overseas contracts. My husband, Jason, the love of my life, is leaving this coming Thursday for, first Ft Benning Georgia and then on the 26th of May, leaving for Kabul Afghanistan. He will be gone until next May/June with hopefully a vacation sometime in the middle. He is sacrificing his time with the boys, holidays, birthdays, free time(there isnt much for him to do there, and only one day off a week) and risking his life of his own free will by going to a war-torn country for US!! for me, for our children, for our future, so we can pay our bills, have health insurance, put money away for retirement and for the boys college education. If this isn't a testimony of how much my dear dear husband loves me and my children's father loves them, I don't know what is. I am going to miss him more than anything in the world while he is gone, and when he gets back watch out! LOL!! I just hope he realizes how much we love him and appreciate and respect him. Please keep him in your prayers over the next year and also my boys that they will be able to adjust to not having him here and that the transition to him being back will go smoothly as well.
